NGAL Rapid ELISA Kit
NGAL (neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin) is a new early marker for acute kidney injury. NGAL levels rise within 2 hours after injury and has been used to assess patients after cardiac surgery, renal transplantation and procedures involving the use of i.v. contrast media. Our CE-IVD-marked NGAL Rapid ELISA Kit measures human NGAL in urine, plasma or serum. The positive predictive value for acute renal failure is over 90%.
Monkey (Cynomolgus) NGAL sandwich ELISA pair launched
BioPorto Diagnostics has developed at sandwich ELISA pair for detection of monkey (Cynomolgus) NGAL. Click here to view the product specification.
The next addition to our NGAL product portfolio will be an antibody pair against murine NGAL to allow the setting up of a sandwich ELISA. Our anti-mouse NGAL antibodies will complement our Rat NGAL ELISA Kit and our monkey NGAL antibodies and enable researchers to measure NGAL in the most common pre-clinical animal models.

NGAL - marker for nephrotoxicity in rats?
BioPorto Diagnostics is pleased to introduce monoclonal antibodies against rat NGAL,which will permit the measurement of NGAL in this species as a potential marker for acute renal injury. This could augment the repertory of nephrotoxicity testing e.g. of pharmaceutical drug candidates.
